2In a medium bowl, cream the shortening and brown sugar. Add eggs, mix well. Sift together the flour, cinnamon and baking soda; stir into the creamed mixture. Finally, stir in the milk and the raisins.
3Drop dough by rounded spoonfuls onto an unprepared cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove from baking sheet to cool on wire racks.
